community.wvu.edu is a public web hosting service for the students/faculty/staff of WVU. It requires that you have a CentralID.

Getting Started

Sign up for the CentralID Account
Download Secure Shell File Transfer Protocol (SFTP or SSH) Software from the Systems Software Repository (opens a new window).
Set up your SFTP program or Webpage Editor (one that supports SFTP) to connect to community.wvu.edu. Remote Server configuration:
Host Name: community.wvu.edu
User ID: Your CentralID
Password: Your CentralID Password
Transfer Files from your computer to your Web Space using an SFTP connection. (See documentation for instructions for your opertating system.)
