Repair staff will take every precaution possible to assure your items and data are protected. While we have your belongings (data, programs or software), we will protect same from theft, malicious damage and accidental damage. In addition, your data is your data and will not be viewed other than necessary to effect repairs or upgrades that you request.
We strongly recommend that you back up all of your applications and data prior to requesting a repair. Despite our best efforts, accidents can -- and do -- happen. If you do not know how to make backups, contact the TSC for assistance.
You will be asked to sign a waiver releasing the TSC from responsibility for data damage. We will not work on customer's property without this release.
Our customers receive a receipt any time the TSC accepts an item for upgrade or repair. You must present this receipt in order to get your goods back. Staff are specifically instructed to obtain a receipt before releasing goods.
