Special Request Workshops

West Virginia University Faculty, Administrators, Staff, and Graduate Teaching Assistants are eligible to request customized workshops to be taught by one or more OIT Technical Support Services Trainers for their department or course. Workshop topics are limited to those where OIT has one or more trainers with expertise in that subject (refer to OIT Training Policy OIT-4). Approval of your request is subject to availability of trainer and training lab(s).

A minimum of five attendees is required with a maximum of twenty-eight attendees for hands-on sessions. Attendees can be any combination of students, faculty, staff, or administrators. Members of WVU Affiliate Groups (e.g. UHA, WVUH, WVU Foundation) are not eligible to request special workshops for their departments; however, they are welcome to attend regularly scheduled OIT Workshops.

Complete and submit this form to request a customized workshop. Please allow at least three weeks lead time for requests. Your request will be forwarded to the training manager; you will be contacted via email within two working days of receipt of this message. You must submit a valid WVU email address in order to request a workshop.
