Allowing Graphics to Automatically Display in HTML Formatted Messages

In previous versions of GroupWise, graphics would automatically display when an e-mail message with HTML content was being viewed. In GroupWise 7, such e-mail messages will require an additional click each time to enable the graphical content to be shown unless a default is changed. To make this one time change, follow these steps:

  1. While in GroupWise, click "Tools" on the menu bar and select "Options."
  2. Double click "Environment."
  3. Select the "Default Actions" tab.
  4. Click to select "Never show warning" under the HTML External Images area.
  5. Graphical depiction of GroupWise Enviornment window

  6. Click "OK" and "Close."

Force Prompting for User ID

If more than one person having a GroupWise account uses the same computer to access GroupWise, it is necessary to have GroupWise prompt for which account to log into each time it is run. To force GroupWise to prompt for a User ID each time the desktop shortcut is launched:

  1. Right-click the GroupWise icon on the Windows desktop and select "Properties."
  2. As depicted below in the "Target:" field, add a blank space after grpwise.exe and type the following:

    /@u-?

  3. Click "OK" to commit the change.
