TIDs and Calling Cards

Faculty and staff with reason to conduct University business by telephone may obtain a TID through their departments.

  1. Download the TID Request Form (.xls)
    This form can be used to request new TIDs and/or Calling Cards or to have existing TIDs and/or Calling Cards cancelled.
  2. Once completed, the form needs to be emailed to the OIT Help Desk (oithelp@mail.wvu.edu) as an attachment and a ticket will be issued.

Students living in residence halls, faculty living in University apartments, and faculty and staff may apply for a Personal Security Code (PSC). These codes are for personal use and all calls will be billed directly to individual code holders by the University's long distance carrier. Students are to go through Housing and Residence Life to receive their PSC.

For Personal Security Code (PSC) applications, billing inquiries, and account cancellations, faculty and staff are to call 1-800-YES-ECCI (800-937-3224).
