MAP Printing (MAP AIX Print Queues)

How to submit a request to have a printer added to MAP

To submit in order add a printer to the MAP system, please have the following information available, before clicking on the continue button below:

  1. hostname of the printer (I.E. aisprt.csc.wvu.edu)
  2. IP address of the printer (I.E. 157.182.234.190)
  3. Email address of the requestor (I.E. jdoe@wvu.edu, it must be your @wvu.edu email address)
  4. Printer Type (I.E. HP 5SI MX)
  5. Network Connection Type (I.E. HP Jet Direct Box)
  6. PCL/PostScript or Both (Whether you need to print PostScript or PCL or both)
  7. Landscape and Portrait (Whether you need to be able to print in landscape or portrait or both)
  8. Notes (Additional notes that you think may be helpful for the Systems Group)

Once you have this information, you can submit your request.
