Data Center Maintenance on June 23

On Sunday, June 23 the OIT Systems group will consolidate and replace load balancers in the primary and secondary data centers. During that maintenance, many services offered by OIT and ATS will be unavailable from 8:00 a.m. until noon.

These services include, but are not limited to:

Data Center Upgrades Scheduled for December 19

The Office of Information Technology Systems Administration group will perform mandatory network upgrades at the WVU Primary Data Center from 6:00 a.m. – noon on Sunday, December 19. The following primary applications and services will be affected during the test period: STAR, MAP, WVU eCampus, MIX, WWW Web Servers, and MyAccess.

The above services and applications will be unavailable for a brief time during the six-hour period. OIT apologizes for any inconvenience as we do try to minimize outages as much as possible. MIX Experiencing Technical Difficulties Resolved

Due to extremely high usage of MIX, the MIX portal is experiencing some technical difficulties. Technologists are currently working to bring the system back up.

Students can still log directly into STAR at http://star.wvu.edu to get their schedule.

Students can directly log into http://mix.wvu.edu/iwc to view their e-mail.

Students can also write to mix@mail.wvu.edu or contact the Service Desk (OITHelp@mail.wvu.edu) if they have questions.
