LAN Services Maintenance July 19 – Log off Computers Before Weekend
LAN Services will be performing regular monthly maintenance on all servers that are not part of the GroupWise System this Sunday, July 19 from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM. Users are asked to please log off or shut down your computer prior to Sunday, July 19. This is important because the potential for corrupted files exists if the computer is not logged off when the server is taken off line.
The maintenance includes network drives (home directories and share folders) for the Administrative Network. During this maintenance period, services may be available but are not guaranteed.
Other servers that will be impacted include the WVU Intranet and Citrix (MasterApps). These servers may experience short outages but we do not anticipate extended periods of downtime for them. Servers dedicated to specific functions may be affected, in which case the users of those services will be notified.
The GroupWise system will not be affected and email will continue to function normally.
