New Faculty Webinars: eCampus, Respondus, Turnitin, Studymate
(August 20, 2008) OIT Training has a new, convenient way for faculty to learn how to use WVU’s online learning tools: eCampus, Respondus, Studymate, and Turnitin. Kathy Fletcher, OIT’s training manager, will host four faculty development sessions in online webinars using Wimba Classroom starting August 29.
Fri., Aug. 29, 10:30-11:45 a.m. – WVU eCampus a la Carte
Fri., Sept. 5, 10:30-11:45 a.m. – Teaching with WVU eCampus
Fri., Sept. 12, 10:30-11:45 a.m. – Respondus & Studymate
Thurs., Sept. 18, 1:00-2:00 p.m. – Turnitin for Faculty
Preregistration is required. Faculty can register online at http://oit.wvu.edu/training/
Webinar login information will be emailed to those who have registered. To join in, participants will need internet access, a web browser that meets all WVU eCampus requirements, a MasterID, and speakers/headset or telephone to hear audio. Participants do not need a microphone unless they wish to ask questions verbally during the Q&A. Questions can be accepted either via text chat or voice.
