OIT Human Resources Information
The OIT Human Resource group coordinates all human resource functions and activities for OIT units, including:
- Manage all non-classified searches
- Advise and counsel the CIO and all OIT hiring supervisors on policy, disciplinary action, University, state, and federal employment policies, laws, and regulations
- Serve as the OIT social justice liaison, monitor AA/EEO utilization goals and statistics for IT and ensures that referral and placement decisions are in compliance with those goals
- Coordinate all classification and compensation activity within Information Technology for both classified and non-classified groups
- Function as the OIT HR Liaison to the WVU Department of Human Resources - advocate and represent the CIO and all OIT directors and supervisors in obtaining approvals, compromises, and/or actions with the Department of Human Resources
- Manage employee leave processing, Kronos/MAPTime recording and implementation, and maintenance of personnel files for IT
