Academic Computing Advisory Commitee

Faculty representatives from the 13 colleges and schools of the University and selected staff members comprise the Academic Computing Advisory Committee. The group serves as an advisory group to the CIO, Rehan Khan, who also chairs the committee. Meetings are typically held the first Wednesday of the month at 8AM and the group communicates using the WVUACC-L@listserv.wvu.edu listserv. The purpose of the committee is to:

  • facilitate communications among faculty and University/College technical support staff
  • guide technological initiatives by assisting with planning and implementation
  • advocate and promote effective applications of academic technologies
